Hello

Thanks for visiting The Museum.

I wonder what you imagine it to be?

I love nothing more than hearing what someone imagines The Museum of Ideas to be. One of my favorite conversations about The Museum happened in Barcelona, Spain, where a new friend offered the visual of a spacious, high-ceilinged room with ideas on paper hanging from the ceiling with string!

The concept of The Museum of Ideas was created in part by recognizing the struggle for thinkers in organizations of all types to find time and space (or a mandate) to explore thought for its own sake. In our time, paradigms of efficiency, productivity, and politics can constrain us. All of which have their place, but the point here is to set aside a place for thought, too.

The Museum of Ideas strives to do this.

Truthfully, the concept will continue to evolve with imagination. Practically speaking though, we're starting by offering products, services and tools that support the art of thinking and the activation creative lives.

We see an opportunity for all of us to live to our "fullest, ...most resourceful potential." As one follower of The Museum pointed out, the vision here derives from our responsibility as a species "to capture what is best about us now that we can share forward and also share with each other now."

Our vision is to create a place where (human) thinkers and creators–of all types–can explore emerging thought and find the projects, products and services that complement that.

We see a world where ideas are embraced as art forms, where people think freely, ask questions with confidence, and seek together to shape our better future through collaborative imagination and curious exploration.

"Wisdom is the ability to balance two opposing mindsets simultaneously..."

Act <—> Think

Fast <—> Slow

Efficiency <—>Imagination

Artificial Intelligence <—> Human Intelligence

Old Narratives <—> New Narratives

Competition <—> Collaboration

Solo <—>Together

Keep <—> Share

I'll meet you where the ideas are. I look forward to it.

My Story

I’m a lover of wisdom, dedicated to imagining what we can build and achieve together. I operate from a place of curiosity, inviting questions, and reflections in order to call to light the hidden messages that surround us everywhere. I believe there is power in what is often unseen, unsaid, or invisible.

What does this look like practically speaking?

I’m building a new place to celebrate the beauty and transformative power of human creators, thinkers, entrepreneurs and artists and their thoughts and ideas by encouraging and promoting their imagination, exploration and collaborative spirit, in bespoke projects and products that uplift, promote and encourage thinking.

I’m also a thinker, writer, curator, and leader of collaborative teams. I’ve served in leadership and executive roles in a global professional services firm and in a nature-based nonprofit organization. I’ve led global scale projects and culture change initiatives. I’ve contributed to thought leadership articles, newsletters and reports. I’ve co-curated an artistic exhibition and installation for a global audience and have facilitated conversations about AI and technology ethics.

The Museum Principles:

  1. We believe in beauty and the transformative power of human creators, inventors, thinkers, entrepreneurs and artists and their thoughts and sound ideas.

  2. We believe the next frontier will be driven by our curiosity—human thought, creativity and imagination. Humans will lead the way.

  3. We believe a signpost is needed in the storm, a beacon to a place that celebrates thought to remind thinkers that their craft is valued and adds value.

  4. We believe in encouraging and promoting humans and their imagination, thoughtful exploration and collaboration with each other and the activation of ideas that will take us forward as a species.

  5. We value curiosity, open-mindedness and the pursuit of knowledge.

  6. We aim to strive endlessly to support those who lead with a curious mindset and who think deeply and seriously.
